The Chrysalis Expressive Arts Therapy in Auckland is a professional arts psychotherapy service for children, teens and adults. It utilises the arts for emotional, psychological and spiritual healing and growth. Through expressive arts processes clients are able to source their own creativity, this forms the basis of therapeutic relief. It provides a way for clients to communicate and express themselves when words alone are too difficult or not enough. There is no need for clients to have artistic skill rather the desire to make changes in themselves and their lives. Expressive Arts Therapist Angie Richardson can take referrals for private practice at The Chrysalis clinic in Epsom, work in schools or run workshops for groups and workplaces. Drama therapy classes are also available for children and teens with special needs.

Cost per session for private clients: $80.00 waged, $60.00 with community services card. There is a 24 hour notice cancellation policy.
